About David Hardin

I am a life-long resident of District 86, and over the years I’ve travelled almost every back road, swam or fished almost every creek, lake and river, and hunted some of the most abundant woods in the area. Without a doubt, we live in one of the most beautiful, scenic areas in the State of Oklahoma.

As a career law enforcement officer of almost 40 years, I am a vehement supporter of our Second Amendment rights to own and bear arms. Police officers, military personal, and even elected officials all have this in common, they swear, under oath, to uphold and defend the Constitution. I will forever honor that oath. Despite what the ill-advised want to believe, taking away the guns of law-abiding citizens will not stop gun violence, nor prevent criminals from obtaining fire arms. We live in a dangerous world, and each and every law-abiding citizen has the right to defend themselves, their families, and their property. There will be no compromise on this issue, ever.
