MAX'S PLAN FOR HIS NEXT TERM

Support the Attorney General's investigation into resolving school safety funds and possible
Open Meetings Act violations.

Increase the State Auditor and Inspector's budget so audits of the State Department of Education (SDE), and all state agencies for this matter, are completed quickly and accurately. This identifies government waste, fraud, and abuse earlier, so it can be stopped.

Hold the SDE accountable for funding delays and abrasive communication with the public.

Review the Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency (LOFT) report and make improvements to
SDE as soon as possible.

Make it easier to freeze or reduce senior citizen property tax values. This reduces inflation’s impact on your taxes - legislation underway!

Make future tax relief benefit our home communities and work to reduce cost of living - meeting with community members and working with legislators on passing laws to help!

Reduce taxes on retirement income.
